NMEA 0183 is a combined electrical and data specification for communication between marine electronics such as echo sounder, sonars, anemometer, gyrocompass, autopilot, GPS receivers and many other types of instruments.
The chartplotter with echo sounder boasts an 800x480 pixel 7" display with a brightness of 1000cd/m2, ensuring clear visibility in various lighting conditions. With an IP56 rating, it is well-suited for use in challenging environments. The device operates on a 12-24 Vdc power supply and is equipped with an internal GPS receiver.
Multi-touch Functionality: The chartplotter features a user-friendly multi-touch display made entirely of glass, allowing easy access to all functions through intuitive sliding menus. Quick Pages can be accessed with a simple downward finger swipe, including personalized display modes. Custom Data Boxes can be viewed by swiping left, and settings adjustment is conveniently done by swiping up from the bottom. The menu features most frequently used can be accessed instantly by swiping from the right side. Touch gestures with two fingers enable functions like capturing screens or performing customized actions. The menu is designed to be intuitive, contextual, and relevant to the current viewing mode.
The CHIRP and Rezboost Fishfinder combines a TruEcho CHIRP system with a traditional echosounder that has the ability to send signals at power levels of 300 W, 600 W, or 1 kW. By selecting the appropriate transducer and fish finder type, the unit optimizes performance accordingly. The CHIRP module called "TruEcho" emits signals across various frequencies, providing excellent accuracy and specific recognition of both fish and bait fish. The conventional fish finder incorporates RezBoost data processing to produce an incredibly sharp and detailed image with high resolution.
Additional features include ACCU-FISH for fish size evaluation and the Bottom Discrimination feature, which aids in identifying productive fishing areas. The chartplotter can wirelessly display radar information from the Furuno DRS4W antenna, simplifying installation and enhancing safety and versatility.
With compatibility with NMEA183 signals, the fish finder can send and receive information from other cartographic devices. It is even possible to view the radar display on a compatible smartphone or tablet, further expanding its functionality.
You can find the required transducer in the compatibility table on the attached photo.
