NMEA 0183 is a combined electrical and data specification for communication between marine electronics such as echo sounder, sonars, anemometer, gyrocompass, autopilot, GPS receivers and many other types of instruments.
The Element line of marine displays are high performance 9” chartplotters and sonars. All Raymarine display models have an open platform. Therefore, by purchasing Element 9S CHIRP Navionics+, which in its basic configuration is a marine chartplotter and sonar, you can significantly expand its capabilities due to additional peripherals:
- use it as a radar if you connect a GPS/GLONASS receiver to the built-in GPS antenna;
- fill an empty slot with C-MAP 4D, Navionics+, Navionics Platinum+ cards;
- calculate and plot a route with waypoints indication;
- monitor compliance with the route, receiving information about the location of the vessel;
- quickly display seamless route maps with information on waypoints;
- sailing directions on seamless maps;
- connect transom transducers that can combine several types of sonar, in particular - Raymarine CPT-S sensors;
- due to additional CHIRP technologies, you get an increase in the scanning area of the underwater space down and along the sides, as well as to great depths;
- improve the quality of the image on the screen by connecting RealVision 3D, get a three-dimensional image;
- connect the autopilot and other on-board systems.
Robust, but easy-to-use operating system allows you to use the new LightHouse NC2 maps in addition to the best mapping systems.
Buy the Element 9S CHIRP Navionics+ marine display and expand its capabilities depending on your new needs.
