Economical marine displays of the Element series were originally intended for recreational fishing. But over time, their speed and ultra-high-definition image quality have also attracted professional fishermen.
Raymarine achieved this photographic quality and realistic image by:
- use of Hypervision CHIRP Sonar with a signal frequency of 1.2 MHz;
- built-in technology RealVision 3D;
- a combination of RealVision 3D and CHIRP HyperVision technologies, which provided a high-resolution three-dimensional image in real time.
The single-channel Hypervision CHIRP Sonar sends a signal to a depth of 30 meters and displays a detailed picture of the underwater space on the screen: shoals of fish and individual fishes even in thickets, the structure of the sea or river bottom, sunken and other objects.
A very clear picture on the screen is provided thanks to high brightness (1500 nits) and resolution (1280 x 800).
Viewing angles approach 90 degrees, which allows you to fix it and not change position during the entire process of finding fish and fishing.
Choose the three most frequently used commands and program hotkeys for them. And with the red button, fix the location of the fish or the places of its possible location. The GPS system will mark these places, which you can return to at any time with great accuracy.
To plot the route, use the maps of various cartographic systems. This chartplotter supports the best charts: Navionics+, Navionics Platinum+, C-MAP 4D and LightHouse NC2.
To buy an Element 12 HV echo sounder with chartplotter functions, just add it to the cart using "Buy" button.
NMEA 0183 is a combined electrical and data specification for communication between marine electronics such as echo sounder, sonars, anemometer, gyrocompass, autopilot, GPS receivers and many other types of instruments.
