This one is a bright representative of the Flyer series - 8-meter motor yacht in the SUNdeck version from the Beneteau shipyard. The Flyer 8 SUNdeck boat is a cabin version of a single hull. Attention is drawn to the covered bow, the deck of which is completely given over to the sunbathing area. The manufacturer positions this boat as a family boat.

Ideal for Family Holidays

The so-called soft deck of the bow is completely covered with sunbeds. Only the side decks and a small platform in front of the anchor bowsprit remain uncovered. Covered bow allows you to place a cabin in the hull.

Eight people are perfectly accommodated on the boat in the cabin and saloon, on the aft sofa and folding side seats, as well as on excellent two chairs in front of the helm, along with the helmsman and his assistant. At the stern you can set up a table and dine al fresco.

The Flyer 8 SUNdeck is designed for one outboard engine with a maximum power of 350 HP. In 15 seconds, the boat picks up speed of 40 knots, demonstrating really impressive dynamics. The maximum speed is not significantly higher - it reaches about 45 knots at a maximum of 6100 rpm, but few people would want to move for a long time in this mode, due to fuel consumption. At the same time, at cruising 20 knots, the flow rate will be about 38.5 l/h.

For the family-oriented Sundeck, less powerful and significantly less expensive motors are acceptable. The DF250 can be a balanced choice for a family boat, with it the maximum speed will be at the level of 40 knots, but at cruising speed and even less, fuel savings can be very significant.
