The range of composite Swift Trawler yachts from Beneteau is very saturated. Swift Trawler 41 stands out among them - is the only yacht in the line that has two modifications: Sedan and Fly. No flybridge in Sedan version made it possible to place solar panels and sunroofs on the roof of the superstructure, which provide natural light and ventilation.
There Can’t Be Too Much Comfort
The main advantage in the layout of both versions is the transfer of the onboard galley from the bow to the stern of the cabin - this solution was used on Beneteau trawlers for the first time. Thus, on board, it was possible to achieve more efficient use of space in the forward part of the saloon, having received two additional seats there at a table in the dining area, as well as facilitating access to the cabins.
There are three cabins on board: in the bow is the owner's cabin with a double island-type bed and a separate bathroom and shower. On the starboard side in the central part there is a guest double cabin, and the third room is a luggage room, but optionally it can be equipped with a 1-bed cabin using a folding bunk. Extra beds can be obtained in the salon by unfolding the sofa in the dining area.
The bathing platform, about a meter wide, is equipped with a folding ladder for climbing into and out of the water onto the deck - it is hidden on the starboard side under the cover.
A three-section glass door opens wide from the cockpit to the saloon. The aft part of the main deck can be made even more comfortable if you get two folding chairs from the spacious utility compartment under the cockpit deck, fold the ladder to the flybridge by the door, move the sofa half a meter to the transom and spread out a table hidden in a narrow compartment on the side of the saloon entrance.
Wherever you go on the side decks - to the salon or to the foredeck with a huge sunbathing area - the movement is not constrained by anything.
Ease of Management
In addition to the control console on the flybridge, the traditional helm station in the saloon of Swift Trawler 41 Sedan is located on the starboard side and is decorated in the style of trawler ships. The classic helm is in a strictly vertical position, behind it is a panel with navigation and communications equipment, a display and indicators. The levers for switching the "gas" are located at the exit to the deck. A justified decision if mooring is done by one person.
For the helmsman, an ideal view is provided through panoramic windows and convenient access to the helm and panel, both from a double adjustable seat and in a standing position.
