Gibsy ALU-H 380 belongs to rigid inflatable boats (RIB) - it is a hybrid of an inflatable dinghy and a dinghy with a fully rigid hull. RIBs have taken every possible advantage from these two boat types in order to obtain a fast, stable, unsinkable and economical design. Such was the task of the army engineers, who came up with it originally. As you can see, they delivered, and their work in different versions came to peaceful waters.
The creators of the dinghy Gibsy ALU-H 380 included all of the possible advantages.
1. Speed
The boat has fast acceleration, which allows it to quickly go on plane. This is due to the lightweight aluminum-magnesium alloy hull and inflatable sides. The V-shaped keel helps to overcome the resistance that appears on a small area of contact of the boat with the water surface, cutting through it easily.
2. Sustainability
Inflatable boards consist of 3 air chambers with a diameter of 45 cm, which increase the width of the boat, which also affects its stability. Thanks to the inflatable board, side waves are extinguished, and the oncoming current is cut by the keel. Lightweight aluminum alloy double hull adds stability to the boat on water.
3. Unsinkability
Rigid hull - floats even without sides. Boards consist of 3 independent chambers of big diameter. Even if some of these four elements fail, the rest will withstand the load of 6 passengers (such is the carrying capacity of the boat).
4. Thrift
In motion, the boat covers most of the way through gliding and the wetting area is minimal. This means that the engine can have low RPM and consume less fuel.
The double solid metal alloy floor does not sag or vibrate, and you can lay out your equipment on it without fear of piercing the bottom.
