A luxury yacht measuring 25 meters was engulfed in flames

On 14th February 2023, a 25-metre (82-foot) Mangusta 80 yacht, known as Le St-James, caught fire while moored at the Wiking Yacht Club marina near Hajógyári Island in Budapest, Hungary. The incident reportedly required the assistance of approximately 20 firefighters, four fire engines, and a fire boat. Video footage shared on social media shows thick smoke and flames emanating from the yacht's cockpit.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and all boats in the area were relocated to a safe location. The marina was not damaged, but Le St-James suffered significant harm. The fire's cause is under investigation, and additional information will be provided in due course.
