Beneteau Swift Trawler 48 for Sale

Beneteau Swift Trawler 48 is here to take the place of Swift Trawler 47 and become the new flagship of the line, although there is also a larger Beneteau Grand Trawler 62. But the latter refers to displacement type yachts, while Swift Trawler 48 has planing hull.

Motor yacht Swift Trawler 48 was developed by the same team as the previous successful model. Exterior and interior design was created by Andreani Design (Italy), who has been working with Beneteau Group for a long time, as well as like MICAD (also Italy) - an engineering and design company that was engaged in drawings and calculations.

Exterior and Layout

In profile, the boat made of fiberglass (sandwich) molded using vacuum infusion technology looks more modern, the superstructure lines have become softer, the design of the hardtop on the flybridge with a soft folding insert has changed, stylish teak linings framed in stainless steel have appeared on the sides, like the Grand Trawler 62.

The popular asymmetric layout has been preserved: on the starboard side there is a wide and protected from above external passage from the cockpit to the side door to the saloon; further you can find steps to the foredeck with a huge solarium.

But the layout and interior design has been significantly revised compared to Swift Trawler 47.

In the cockpit, the seating area is combined with the dining area: a large sofa and a folding table with folding chairs. The ladder to the flybridge with teak steps can be moved along the rails and fixed. Double doors on the transom on the port side lead to the stern platform, which can be used as a bathing platform or carry a dinghy weighing 350 kg.

A sliding door of 3 sections leads from the cockpit to the saloon. On the port side there is a full-fledged galley with all the necessary equipment, opposite - a buffet with a wine bar.

The control station is shifted to the starboard side and is equipped with a single seat and a steel helm. The instrument panel contains two Raymarine chartplotters. On the Beneteau Swift Trawler 48 you can accommodate up to 8 people overnight - in three cabins and in the saloon, if you convert the table and sofa into a bed.
