The high pressure inflatable floor is a distinctive feature of Gibsy King Light series boats. For its inflation, an electric pump is used - the process takes a few minutes and does not require subsequent pumping. The Gibsy King Light 180 boat, thanks to a rigid and flat high-pressure inflatable floor, has the following advantages:
- increased stability on water thanks to increased rigidity of the entire structure, since the floor chamber expands into the spacer of the hull chambers;
- the bottom doesn’t cave in under the load of passengers’s steps;
- provides a significant ease of construction compared to those where wooden flooring is used;
- increased safety of passengers and cargo, as the inflatable floor acts as the third buoyancy chamber in addition to the two hull chambers;
- the sides of the hull do not wear out compared to with plywood flooring;
- significantly simplified assembly, disassembly and transportation of the boat, including the inflated state.
In the manufacturing process of the Gibsy King Light 180 inflatable boat, a special 3D textile is used: a layer of specially interwoven polyester fibers is glued on both sides with layers of PVC. This results in a fabric (in this series - 0.7 mm thick), resistant to stretching, tearing, abrasion, moisture penetration and negative atmospheric influences.
The integrity of the boat is also ensured by the fender, which is welded along the hull in the form of a wide flexible PVC tape, protecting the sides from damage during mooring.
The rigid transom is made of durable and moisture-resistant marine plywood, the layers of which are impregnated with Bakelite. It securely holds the motor mount to which the engine is attached.
The price of Gibsy King Light 180 is indicated without an electric pump, which can be bought separately with other additional equipment.
