Twin Eye Inflatable Fender NFD-4 - Ø 29 cm

The fender has two hollow eyes 2,5 cm in diameter and the rings are additionally reinforced for heavy use. The product is molded entirely from polyvinyl chloride, without seams and joints, by rotational molding. Equipped with a built-in plastic valve.

The material of the case is PVC of increased resistance to wear and friction. Elastic and flexible, it easily resists mechanical deformation, temperature extremes and intense loads. It does not germinate with algae and will not become a breeding ground for fungi and mold, it is easy to clean and does not fade in the sun.

Shipowners purchase fenders to protect the hull of their yacht or boat from damage, scratches and chipping of the coating during:

• mooring at a fixed or floating pier;
• joint mooring side by side with another vessel;
• maneuvering in marinas filled with other boats;
• passing through narrow channels, locks and dangerous areas.

In these situations, in order to avoid collision or friction, protective bumpers are hung from one side of the hull or from both sides. Dampers absorb and dissipate impact energy, and also protect the surface of the case from abrasive damage. The number and size of suitable fenders depends largely on individual mooring conditions, but it is strongly recommended to have at least three on each side.
