The body is white, black or blue, made through a one-piece seamless casting method, which made it possible to create a uniform wall thickness and reliable tightness of the chamber. The material is resistant to abrasion, UV, temperature extremes and constant use.
It has two eyes with a diameter of 1.5 cm, they are additionally reinforced and allow you to mount the damper both horizontally and vertically.
With the size of 11.5 cm in diameter and 42 cm in length it is suitable for:
- comfortable mooring conditions;
- moorings at floating piers;
- small boats;
- ship boats and rafts.
Fenders are used as shock-absorbing pads between the walls of the pier and the hull of the vessel. They protect against collision damage as well as abrasive damage to the coating as a result of the friction of the board against metal, concrete or hardwood. They are also placed at the points of contact between two other vessels when docking or mooring side-to-side.
They are attached to ropes or cables on one side of the vessel or around the entire perimeter. These inflatable dampers do not require rigid fixation, are easily adjustable in height, can be quickly switched from side to side and do not take up much space when deflated. When placed vertically, they are fixed with the valve up and so that the lower edge touches the water, but does not float. Before sailing, the shock absorbers are hauled aboard where they can be stored deflated or ready for use.
