The task of the fenders is to isolate the sides of the boat, slow down its rocking, reduce the impact force when it comes into contact with the quay wall or a neighboring vessel. Therefore, their design combines the properties of a shock absorber, a bumper and a damper.

Inflatable shock absorbers also protect adjacent boats from damage, especially if yachts with different freeboards are settled in a row. In such cases, reinforced eyes at different ends are indispensable.

The advantages of reinforced inflatable fenders are that they can be attached in different ways, depending on the place of mooring and parking, to create a buffer zone between the side of the boat and the object with which it comes into contact:

• when berthed, the fenders are placed at the point of contact with a neighboring vessel;
• when docking at the floating pontoons, the fenders are attached just above the waterline;
• when mooring to an object with corners, it is better to fasten the protection in the horizontal direction by both eyes, creating an additional inflatable bumper;
• for traveling during strong winds or in places with strong tidal waves you can buy a higher amount of fenders and use both mounting method with imitation of a bumper and fastening by both eyes in the vertical direction, so that the fenders do not expose the sides during strong swinging.
