MD Kabir first joined Yamaha in 2017 as the continuous improvement manager at Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America (YMMC).

In this role, he established and led the Continuous Improvement Department, which contributed to savings of around $26 million over a seven-year period.

Most recently, MD served as the continuous improvement manager on the Marine Business Unit Operational Excellence Manufacturing Support team, playing a pivotal role in spearheading monozukuri-lean activities and lean transformation efforts for the Marine Group.

Kabir directly reports to Dan Chips, the director of Manufacturing Support at Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit.
