Carl Herndon has taken on the role of president at Brig USA and Fluid Marine.
At Brig USA, he will be in charge of the recreational Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) division, while at Fluid Marine, he will oversee Patrol, Search and Rescue (SAR), and Swift Water Rescue (SWR) boat sales and production.
Carl's appointment comes at a strategic time for Brig and Fluid as they seek to broaden their market presence. Brig aims to distribute recreational RHIBs through dealers across the country, while Fluid is targeting state, local, and federal agencies, commercial customers, and space recovery organizations in the US with its patrol boats.
With three decades of experience under his belt, Carl brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position, particularly in the realm of designing and producing semi-custom production boats.
In addition to his role at Brig and Fluid, Carl has founded multiple businesses spanning various industries, including boat manufacturing and dealership ventures.
Throughout his career, Carl has been instrumental in the operations of several prominent boating manufacturers, such as Streamline R, Jupiter Marine, and Blackfin Yacht Corporation.
"I’m really excited to take on this new role, and support both Brig’s and Fluid’s continued growth," he expressed.
Speaking specifically about Fluid Marine, Carl emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of police officers and firefighters on the water as they carry out their duties within their communities. This commitment is a top priority for Carl as he looks ahead to the future.
Fluid's boats range from 13ft to 36ft in size and are equipped with Hypalon tubes, law enforcement gear, and are accessible through various government procurement channels.
"We will remain dedicated to enhancing the performance and quality of our boats," Carl affirmed.
Brig boats are currently offered through authorized dealers nationwide.
Brig USA and Fluid Marine are both headquartered in North America.
