Fountaine Pajot and Couach Catamarans have recently unveiled their collaboration on a new power catamaran brand, VEYA Yachts. At the helm as CEO is Romain Motteau, who introduced the VEYA 53, the brand's premiere model, at the 2025 Miami International Boat Show. Previously known as CODE 07, this model marks VEYA's ambitious entry into the luxury maritime market.
Constructed in the esteemed Couach shipyard located in the picturesque Arachon Bay, France, VEYA Yachts embodies the fusion of Fountaine Pajot's innovative design principles with the renowned craftsmanship of Couach. The result is a series of catamarans that boast not only spaciousness but also reliability, designed to offer a sanctuary on the sea.
Yvan Eymieu, the Managing Director at VEYA, emphasizes the brand's core philosophy, "We’re not chasing trends; we’re crafting a sanctuary." He further elaborates on the VEYA ethos, describing it as a commitment to functionality, comfort, and seamless integration with the sea. "Imagine a vessel where every feature serves a purpose, where comfort feels natural, and the horizon is always within reach. That’s the VEYA philosophy," Eymieu asserts.
VEYA's approach is to let their craftsmanship do the talking. "Veya Yachts avoids bold claims. Instead, we let our craftsmanship speak through catamarans engineered to endure, spaces designed to breathe, and journeys that feel effortlessly yours," says Eymieu. He adds, “We're not redefining luxury—we’re reimagining what it means to truly belong at sea.”
The VEYA 53 is a testament to this philosophy. Measuring 16.1 meters, the yacht features expansive decks, intelligently designed interiors, and panoramic windows that connect the inhabitants with the ocean. The outdoor living spaces, including a flybridge, enhance the onboard experience, making every journey memorable.
Prospective owners of the VEYA 53 can choose from two cockpit configurations: one featuring a large lounge aft seat and another that opens fully to the ocean. Additionally, a hydraulic aft platform enhances sea access and doubles as a beach club feature, blending utility with luxury.
The VEYA 53 is just the beginning, with several more models planned to further expand the VEYA line. This innovative approach to catamaran design is set to redefine expectations in the luxury maritime industry, promising durability, freedom, and a sense of togetherness on every voyage.
