The side protection should not be inflated tightly. To check, press the fender with your hands: when properly inflated, it should bend a little. But it is better, of course, to check the pressure level with the gauge once or twice a year. The standard pressure should be 0.15 bar at 20°C. It is in this state that reinforced inflatable fenders will show their best qualities:

• when the side of the boat comes into contact with the berth, the side of the neighboring boat or the wall of the lock chamber, they will take the main impact force and distribute it over the entire surface of the protection, which will reduce the impact force at the point of contact;
• will provide the necessary shock-absorbing and damping effect, which will reduce the amplitude of the boat's rocking and the force of each next impact upon contact;
• they will reliably protect the sides of not only your boat, but also those of neighboring boats when anchored side by side at the pier or mooring piles.

Reinforced inflatable fenders can be attached by one or two eyelets. In the first case, it hangs freely from the board on a cable. When mounted by both eyes, vertical or horizontal mounting options can be used.
