Made of a stainless steel material resistant to rust and corrosion, a grapnel anchor is a marine anchor designed with four hooks that grip onto seabed or rocky surfaces. Its central shank has curved and pointed arms attached to it, designed to expand when dropped into the water and fold when not in use.
