These connectors are constructed using AISI 316 stainless steel and have an oval shape that facilitates smooth movement of both the chain and anchor along the bow. They are of the fixed model type.
Using these connectors has multiple advantages such as making it effortless to pull the anchor over the bow roller. Additionally, the captured pins will remain secure even when under load and can be removed with the help of an Allen wrench. However, Loctite on screws is necessary after installation.
