Polymer inserts in assorted colors, designed to withstand the marine environment, offering a convenient and neat method for marking anchor chains. To apply, position the two halves of the chain marker on either side of the chain link, ensuring alignment and securing with the provided steel screws (8-10 mm) or brass screws (12-14 mm). The unique screw fastening ensures a secure fit, resisting various forms of abrasion such as seabed, anchor snout, and windlass interactions.
The chain markers are easily removable and repositionable if needed. Additionally, the set includes a guide plate for simplified chain measurement. Enter the meter count on one side of the plate and the corresponding color to maintain clear measurement indication. The plate can be affixed near the windlass or in the anchor locker using the included screws or adhesive.
