Sicomin Welcomes a Fresh CEO onboard

Ken Marcovich is set to assume the position of CEO at Sicomin.

Ken will take over from his father, Philippe Marcovich, who has been at the helm of Sicomin for 42 years. Under Philippe's leadership, the company has expanded to become a prominent global player in epoxy resin systems and advanced composite materials.

Philippe will remain involved with Sicomin in his capacity as the company's president. This transition will allow him more time to concentrate on other projects, including ACCWING, a venture that has produced a cutting-edge, flexible wing for sailboats, and the innovative sandwich core technology MaxCore, created in collaboration with Sam Marcovich, Ken’s younger brother.

Legacy

Prior to joining Sicomin, Ken played a key role in the growth of Map Yachting, a company specializing in the development and distribution of advanced finishing systems for the marine industry.

Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity, Ken stated, “I am privileged to assume this position and carry forward the remarkable legacy established by my father. Sicomin is well positioned to lead in innovation and address the increasing demand for sustainable, high-performance epoxy resin and composite solutions.

“I am excited to collaborate with our skilled team to expedite our progress and cater to our global clientele.”

Ken highlighted that his expertise in sustainable development, environmental sciences, and sustainable procurement will serve as a solid groundwork for his new role.
