Already a winner of the Transat Jacques Vabre and the Route du Rhum, the sailor from Dunkirk was one of the top favorites of this 10th edition. However, true to his unpredictable reputation, the race imposed much more than a simple demonstration of performance on him: it was a real lesson in resilience and humility.
