Numarine has partnered with Silent Line to create innovative soundproofing technology for their yachts. The latest Numarine 45XP model incorporates various technical improvements aimed at reducing noise and vibrations. These enhancements are the result of advanced modeling techniques and the use of cutting-edge products.
The new technologies integrated into the yacht include a diesel-electric propulsion system and a custom-designed acoustic generator enclosure. Silent Line's founder, Sjaak van Cappellen, expressed pride in the long-standing partnership with Numarine, highlighting the extensive research and computer modeling that went into achieving the current noise and vibration reduction levels.
By leveraging Silent Line's state-of-the-art technology, Numarine has successfully decreased the weight of the 45XP model by almost 3 tonnes. In addition to this, the company has developed new engine and generator mountings to minimize structural vibrations. The yacht's floating floors, partitions, and ceilings have also been specially designed to mitigate noise transmission.
Numarine is confident that the new 45XP will set a new standard for quietness in yachts under 50 meters once it is launched. Founder and chairman Ömer Malaz expressed excitement about showcasing the flagship model and emphasized the collaborative efforts with Silent Line to ensure superior noise reduction.
Ömer Malaz reiterated Numarine's commitment to surpassing European competitors by offering exceptional comfort and safety on their boats. The focus on reducing noise levels stems from the belief that silence is the ultimate luxury at sea, allowing passengers to fully immerse themselves in the marine environment.
The collaboration between Numarine and Silent Line represents a significant milestone in yacht technology, promising a quieter and more enjoyable cruising experience for future owners and passengers.
