Nimbus Group is strengthening its position in Norway by appointing Grimstad Bådsenter AS as the dealer for Alukin brand boats in the Agder region, located on the Norwegian South Coast, Sörlandet.

Grimstad Bådsenter, previously a dealer for Nimbus brand boats, is now broadening its range by adding boats from the Alukin brand of Nimbus Group.

In 2024, Nimbus Group entered into an agreement with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) to design a new workboat under the Alukin brand for the Swedish Armed Forces.

Jan-Erik Lindström, CEO of Nimbus Group, stated, "The partnership with Grimstad Bådsenter enables Alukin to access a new customer base in both the recreational boating and various commercial sectors."

"Following the contract with FMV, Nimbus Group foresees significant growth opportunities for Alukin and is committed to expanding the market for their offerings," Lindström added.

This collaboration with Grimstad Bådsenter is part of Nimbus Group's strategy to enhance its presence in the Norwegian market.

In 2022, Nimbus Group acquired the Norwegian retailer Herholdt Andersen, situated in the Oslofjord area, and in 2023, obtained the dealership rights for Nimbus and Paragon brand boats from Gressvik Marina in Östfold.

Established in 1979, Grimstad Bådsenter brings a wealth of experience in the sales and maintenance of motorboats and engines to the partnership.
