Introducing the Bavaria Vida 33: A New Era of Hard-Top, Outboard Boating!

German boat manufacturer Bavaria has announced the latest iteration of the Vida series, now available with twin outboard engines, in addition to the existing inboard version powered by MerCruiser. This new model introduces options for Suzuki outboards, specifically the DF 200 AP, DF 250 AP, and DF 300 AP, allowing for a maximum horsepower of 600.

This enhancement is not just about power. The design of the Vida has been upgraded significantly. One notable addition is an optional extended swim platform that wraps around the outboard engines, providing a complete walk-around capability. This design feature is cleverly integrated into the boat's overall aesthetic, making the engines almost invisible when viewed from certain angles.

The swim platform itself is designed for convenience; it can be lowered for easier access to the water, making it perfect for swimming. It also simplifies boarding and disembarking at the dock, and the nearby cleats make mooring a breeze.

The cockpit area has been thoughtfully arranged to enhance onboard living. It includes a side kitchenette with a sink positioned at the stern, facing a seating area to the starboard. The rear bench's backrests can be fully lowered to create a large sunbathing area. Storage compartments underneath are perfect for stowing ropes or fenders.

A walkway on the port side, closed off by one of the windshield panels, connects the front and the back of the boat. The front deck can be set up as a lounge area with a central table or transformed into a spacious sunbathing zone.

The interior layout includes a dinette at the bow, which converts into a double bed and is adjacent to a bathroom, providing both comfort and convenience. The dinette is impressively sized, offering a sleeping space that measures 2.10 meters in length and nearly as much in width.

The new version of the Bavaria Vida is set to be available through Bavaria’s dealership network starting February 2025. The boat measures 9.93 meters in length and 3.43 meters in width, featuring a single cabin.

Bavaria is renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation in yacht manufacturing. Based in Germany, the company has been a significant player in the boat building industry, offering a wide range of motorboats and sailing yachts that cater to various boater needs and preferences.
