ExploMar introduces the innovative 5S Energy Station, a cutting-edge renewable energy fast-charging system that revolutionizes electric boat charging.
Building on ExploMar’s successful development of high-performance electric outboard systems, the 5S Energy Station integrates photovoltaic technology, energy storage, and fast-charging stations to offer independent charging solutions for electric boats.
This new system is versatile and can be easily implemented in existing docks, islands, and remote waterways, providing a sustainable energy solution in various locations.
Designed to tackle common challenges like inadequate power supply, weak grid infrastructure, high electricity costs, and underdeveloped power networks, the 5S Energy Station is a game-changer in the electric boating industry.
Featuring a 300kW solar system, the station can generate an impressive 1500kWh of photovoltaic energy daily, ensuring reliable and efficient charging for electric boats.
Alex Dong, CEO of ExploMar, highlighted the importance of sustainability and overcoming natural and economic barriers with the comprehensive 5S energy solution for electric water mobility.
By offering more than just a powertrain system, the 5S Energy Station aims to facilitate the growth of the electric water mobility ecosystem, making energy supply worries a thing of the past.
The station is capable of charging up to 35 boats equipped with WAVE 70 electric outboard motors and HEDB 40 batteries, or six boats with WAVE 300 electric outboard motors and HEDB 240 batteries in a single day.
Embodying Solar, Self-supply, Storage, Scale, and Sales, the 5S Energy Solution seamlessly integrates with ExploMar’s high energy density batteries, enabling rapid and efficient charging for electric boats.
Its modular and transportable design ensures easy deployment and scalability for electric fleets, coupled with multi-layer protection for reliable performance even in harsh environments.
Long-lasting Performance
The station's energy storage feature guarantees reserves during low-sunlight periods, with the ability to sell surplus energy back to the grid, enhancing its sustainability aspect.
Featuring CX corrosion resistance and an IP55-rated cooling system, the 5S Energy Station is built for long-lasting operation, ensuring durability and performance even in challenging conditions.
Alex emphasized the importance of integrated solutions over piecemeal components to ensure stability and effectiveness in electric outboard systems, further underlining ExploMar’s commitment to innovative and reliable solutions.
