The latest creation from the Polish shipyard Northman, the Maxus 31, designed by the young architect Tomasz Micewicz, fills the gap between the 26 and the 35 models. This versatile cruiser with modern lines and well-designed interiors is the perfect family cruiser.
The design reflects current trends, with features like the square stern (with a fold-down transom that even offers an additional cockpit seat), high freeboard, and straight, voluminous bow.
The interior is comfortable, bright - thanks to the hull windows - and beautifully furnished with quality woodwork, offering a good level of modularity. You can expand the forward berth, use a door to close off the bathroom or the second double berth aft, or stow away the chart table during stops.
The standard version includes two cabins, one of which is an aft cabin with a large transverse berth and a separate shower room. A three-cabin version is also available.
In the cockpit, you can choose between a tiller or a wheel with a console, while the deck layout is classic yet effective: a self-tacking jib, two halyard winches on the coamings, and two mainsheet winches with a battery of clutches on each side of the companionway.
Finally, there is a bow pulpit with an integrated anchor roller, convenient for anchoring!
