Turkish conglomerate Yildiz Holding AS is planning to withdraw from the marina sector in order to concentrate on its primary food and retail operations.
The corporation, known for its ownership of Godiva chocolates and McVitie’s biscuits, is also looking to divest its tourism assets.
In a press release, Yildiz Holding stated that it will give precedence to its food and retail divisions as part of its continuous efforts to expand internally and reinforce its global collaborations.
The company’s three marinas in Turkey are managed by its subsidiary Marinturk.
These marinas include Istanbul City Port located near Tuzla, Gocek Village Port, and Gocek Exclusive.
Istanbul City Port marina is equipped with floating pontoons, has a capacity for 752 moorings, and is capable of lifting and launching yachts up to 200 tons.
