This event, organized by Afina and Mostra d’Oltremare, positions itself as the year's premier nautical fair, setting the stage for the sector's innovations for 2025.

A Pivotal Event for Italian Nautical Industry

With over 200 exhibitors and 500 brands represented, Nauticsud 2025 will span 52,000 sqm of indoor and outdoor space, showcasing more than 600 boats. The event remains a key reference for enthusiasts and professionals alike, featuring a wide range of inflatables, traditional boats, yachts, and leisure vessels.

Notable participants at the fair include Bavaria, Cranchi, Aicon, Echo Yachts, Morgan Flair Yachts, Beneteau, Cayman Yachts, as well as numerous specialized yards in traditional boats and inflatables like Esposito Mare, Gozzi Mimì, NauticAmato (Italiamarine), Salpa, Zar, Joker Boat, Nuova Jolly, Sacs, and Pirelli.

Statements from Gennaro Amato: "More Ports and Maritime Culture Needed"

During the press conference, Gennaro Amato, president of Afina, highlighted the need for more berthing facilities and a broader maritime culture to support the nautical sector. He cited inadequate infrastructure, excessive bureaucracy, and barriers faced by young boaters as critical challenges for the future of the industry.

Admiral Pier Paolo Burri of the Italian Navy emphasized the importance of simplifying administrative procedures, while Colonel Claudio Mazzarese of the Carabinieri criticized the bureaucratic delays hindering nautical development.

A Growing Sector Despite Challenges

Despite market challenges, Nauticsud 2025 witnesses an increase in participation from emerging shipyards and the return of historic brands. The fair will feature a wide range of boats from 6 to 15 meters, a segment that is struggling but still vital for the Italian market.

The engine sector is also well represented with Mercury, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Yanmar, Selva, Tohatsu, FNM, Lombardini Marine, Kohler, and John Deere showcased by major national distributors.
