The Barcelona International Boat Show, scheduled for 2025, is poised to embark on an exciting new chapter. The show's organizers are planning a comprehensive overhaul that promises to extend its scale and display a broader array of maritime products.
Enhancements to the event are aimed at elevating the quality of the exhibits, making it a standout amongst other major European boat shows. Luis Conde, the president of the show, emphasized the objective to enhance the show’s offerings and reinforce Barcelona’s reputation as a hub for sports and leisure boating both in Spain and across Europe.
The event, which will take place from October 8 to 12, will feature an array of larger vessels and exclusive presentations from top brands. It aims to draw a sophisticated audience with significant buying power by showcasing more prominent international shipyards.
Enhanced Visitor Experiences
Among the new attractions will be a hosted buyers program and special early access for VIP guests, intended to attract industry leaders and high-profile visitors.
To promote the event both locally and globally, organizers will collaborate with a network of ambassadors, including leading entities in the yacht club sector.
Further enriching the visitor experience, a new 2,500 square meter village will be introduced in the Portal de la Pau area of Port Vell. This area will feature a variety of culinary and other engaging activities.
The 2025 show will continue to focus on sustainability, the blue economy, and innovation. These key themes will be explored through various conferences and discussions at the Agora forum, organized by the Port de Barcelona.
This progressive vision for the Barcelona International Boat Show underscores its aim to not only enhance its stature within the marine industry but also to offer a richer, more engaging experience to its attendees.
