Gerno di Lesmo, January 10, 2025 – Yamaha Motor announces that starting from January 2025, a selection of electric outboard motors from Torqeedo, a leader in electric propulsion on water and part of the Yamaha Motor Group since 2024, will be available at Yamaha dealerships in eight European countries.

The electric outboard motors are designed to reduce carbon footprint and represent an ideal option for smaller and lighter boats. By combining the Torqeedo range with the recent update of the Harmo engine, Yamaha expands its offering to meet the diverse needs of modern boating.

Available Torqeedo motors

Starting from January 2025, at Yamaha dealerships in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, the following Torqeedo models will be available:

• Travel Ultralight (1-3 HP equivalent): ideal for small boats.
• Travel Family (2-5 HP equivalent): perfect for boats up to two tons.
• Cruise (6-25 HP equivalent): designed for larger boats, up to 12 tons.
