Springfield Marine Implements Structural Revisions

After serving as the director of sales and marketing, Danny Sweeney has been promoted to the position of vice president of sales and marketing at Springfield Marine.

Having been a part of Springfield Marine for 15 years, Danny has played a key role in driving the company's growth strategies. Under his leadership, Springfield Marine has emerged as a top supplier of seating and seating hardware for the marine industry, in addition to providing table hardware for both the marine and RV sectors.

Michael Folkerts, the president of Springfield Marine, commended Danny's contributions, stating, “Danny has been an integral part of our team for more than a decade, and his leadership is largely responsible for our dominance in our product categories.”

As Springfield Marine expands its product line and target markets, Michael expressed confidence in Danny's ability to forge partnerships and leverage his extensive experience to execute the company's strategic plans.

In his new role, Danny will continue to spearhead the sales and marketing endeavors at Springfield Marine.

Alongside Danny's promotion, Springfield Marine has implemented other changes within the organization, including the appointment of Wes Melton as the new director of accounting.

With over 30 years of experience in finance, Wes will take charge of leading the finance and accounting teams at Springfield Marine.

Furthermore, Ray Holcomb has been promoted to the position of quality assurance manager, succeeding the retiring Mark Garcia.

Ray, who previously served as the quality assurance supervisor at Springfield Marine for a year, brings a wealth of experience in the quality control domain. His main focus will revolve around the continued implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality program.
