Features of Expansion Tank - 5 lt
Expansion tanks are installed in closed heating systems to prevent damage from the expansion and contraction of the coolant caused by
temperature changes. As the system operates, the volume of coolant fluctuates with temperature changes, and so does the internal pressure, this shouldn't negatively impact the heating system's performance or cause damage to any of its components. To prevent this, an expansion tank is introduced to the heating system. These tanks come in various sizes ranging from 5 to 3000 liters and can have either a replaceable or fixed membrane.
Specifications:
- Temperature range within which the expansion tank can operate is from 0 to 99ºС
- Maximum air pressure that can be contained within the expansion tank - 8 atm.
- The expansion tank has a preliminary pressure of 1.5 atm inside it.
- The size of the connection for the expansion tank - 3/4 inch.
