The Marex 440 Scandinavia - a Unique Twist on Gourmet Cruisers
The Scandinavian variant of the Marex 440 Gourmet Cruiser piqued the curiosity of visitors at Boot Düsseldorf 2025. This Norwegian sedan yacht, measuring fourteen meters, offers a choice of two or three cabins.
The Gourmet Cruiser, true to its name, features a high-end American kitchen in the wheelhouse on the starboard side, reminiscent of a restaurant setup.
The Scandinavia model, however, replaces this kitchen with a large sofa and table. Two telescopic stools slide out from under the table to accommodate two extra guests for meals.
This innovative concept is likely to be imitated. The kitchen, though more modest, but still up to Marex's standards, is now positioned on the starboard side behind the helm. The sliding camper cover acts like a curtain, allowing the cockpit to be completely enclosed within seconds.
