Discover the Aiata Wayfinder 38: One Design, Three Variants

A few weeks ago, we announced the launch of a new Turkish brand, Aiata, which will make its debut at Boot Düsseldorf 2025 with its first boat, the Wayfinder 38.

We are now able to reveal some images of this boat, developed by the Finnish designer Jarkko Jämsen from Navia Design.

Cabin, Open, or Fishing

Aside from a walkaround deck plan and a hull with two steps, the Wayfinder 38 comes in three versions: Cabin, Open, and Fishing.

As the name suggests, the Cabin version is characterized by a closed wheelhouse that houses the helm station, a large L-shaped salon, and an integrated kitchen. The opening roof of this version allows for navigation in both good weather and more winter-like conditions. The front of the boat features a cabin with a "queen-size" bed and a 2-meter-high headroom toilet cabinet. The rear window of this wheelhouse lifts up, allowing people in the L-shaped salon to communicate directly with those sitting on the rear cockpit bench. The interior decoration is done in teak.

The Open version mirrors the same layout as the Cabin model, with the large U-shaped salon and rear cockpit bench. The main difference is the absence of side walls, with the U-shaped salon only sheltered under the sturdy opening hard-top.

A version for fishing

Finally, in Fishing configuration, the deck plan is the same as the Open version, but the rear cockpit bench is replaced by a fishing unit that includes a cutting board, a live well, and bait boxes.

The Wayfinder 38 is powered by two outboard engines with a power range between 300 and 425 hp.
