OXE Marine secures largest-ever contract

OXE Marine Inc (US), a subsidiary of OXE Marine AB, has secured a substantial order valued at US$6.6m to supply a United States Governmental Agency.

The order encompasses a range of products and services, including OXE diesel outboard engines, rigging accessories, service kits, and OXE’s innovative containerized lifecycle support system, C-CRES.

Delivery of the order is scheduled for 2025 and 2026, with the bulk of the products expected to be delivered in 2025.

A private contractor in the United States is responsible for placing the order, which also involves a 20% deposit amounting to approximately $1.3m to be remitted to OXE Marine.

Jeremy Davis, the Chief Commercial Officer and US Executive Vice President of OXE Marine INC, expressed enthusiasm about being chosen once again as the supplier to a US governmental client, highlighting the company's growth in this sector.

This order marks the largest single order ever received in OXE's history, underscoring its significant impact on the company.

Davis also emphasized the advantageous position of the OXE outboard in terms of performance, fuel efficiency, and the logistical and safety benefits associated with using diesel in fleet operations.

Paul Frick, the CEO of OXE Marine AB, echoed the sentiments, stating, "This order represents the largest single order OXE has ever received, signifying a major milestone for our company by showcasing our capacity to engage in substantial projects."

He further explained, "Following the successful refinancing of our company, we are now in a much stronger financial position to handle larger orders, which, in turn, contribute to enhancing efficiencies in our supply chain and production processes."

Frick added, "Being selected as the preferred propulsion supplier underscores OXE's ongoing momentum as a trusted provider to governmental clients in the marine industry."

In a separate development in 2024, OXE Marine (US) had announced two orders totaling US $1.5m to supply a US Governmental Agency and US $3.3 million from an American boat builder.
