OXE Marine Provides Equipment to Swedish Maritime Authority

OXE Marine AB, in collaboration with its distributor SARj, is set to deliver OXE300 outboard motors and associated rigging gear to the Swedish Maritime Administration (Sjöfartsverket).

The contract involves equipping three new vessels that are scheduled to be operational by this spring.

SARj has a history of engaging with governmental projects in both Sweden and Finland, and this deal marks their inaugural venture with a Swedish government entity.

“We are excited to offer a solution that brings multiple advantages over traditional propulsion systems,” stated Andreas Cederqvist, co-owner of SARj.

He added, “The OXE system not only enhances fuel efficiency but also leverages the potency of an outboard motor configuration.

Diesel-Powered Innovation

Moreover, this technology incorporates a robust marine hydraulic gearbox, backed by a diesel motor supplied by a leading name in the automotive diesel sector.”

Cederqvist highlighted that the OXE engines are compatible with HVO100, a synthetic diesel alternative, which can drastically cut CO2 emissions by up to 92%.

Paul Frick, CEO of OXE Marine, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership: “Collaborating with SARj on this project for the Swedish Maritime Administration is a significant achievement for us.

“This initiative is a testament to the increasing acceptance and demand for our cutting-edge diesel outboard technology among both commercial and governmental sectors in Sweden’s maritime industry,” he concluded.
