Lightweight and fast
Designer Marc Lombard did the unthinkable: with a spacious deck and massive roof, the Neel 43 is 3 tons lighter than similar boats. The catamaran is comfortable to drive, the steering wheel is pleasantly responsive. All winch lines, except for the spinnaker sheets, lead to the helm station, which is located in the cockpit on the starboard side.
High speed qualities and ease of control are provided by:
- reducing the mass of the vessel;
- reduction of its displacement;
- reduction of the area of the wetted surface;
- replacement of two low-profile keels with one shallow one under the central hull;
- placement of the heaviest parts in the center of the middle body: engine, fuel tank, battery.
A stable speed of 10 knots is quickly achieved with wind speeds of 14 knots. Even during maneuvering, the speed rarely drops below 5 knots.
Spacious and comfortable
Loft style deck layout, lots of light pouring in through large windows, white fiberglass, harmoniously complemented by warm-colored fabrics and wood, thatched flooring. The designer and shipyard have once again proven their commitment to the use of biomaterials and recyclable materials.
The loft style provides every cruising participant with privacy in their cabins, cockpit or saloon. The trimaran, 12.90 meters long, has 3 passenger cabins and one owner's cabin.
In case of purchase of the Neel 43 trimaran by a charter company up to 10 berths can be arranged here by adding small cabins in the bow and lowering the table in the saloon.
