The barometer is designed for the precise measurement of atmospheric pressure, covering a range from 300 to 1100 hPa or mbar (225 to 825 mmHg). It serves to supply barometric pressure data to chart plotters and instrumental displays.
Primarily crafted for weather monitoring, this product incorporates a sensor housed within the device case. Numerous chart plotters and digital navigation instruments, including both modern Vulcan7 and older ST70 models, can present pressure data through graphs or trend indicators. This functionality enables users to monitor and analyze trends in weather changes.
With a pressure data output resolution of 0.01 hPa (mbar) to a NMEA 2000 Version 3 network, the Barometer maintains an absolute measurement accuracy of ±1 hPa, accompanied by a relative measurement accuracy of ±0.12 hPa. For comprehensive environmental monitoring, consider complementing this device with our Humidity Sensor YDHS-01, capable of providing relative humidity, air temperature, and calculated dew point temperature to enhance your instrument's capabilities.
This device features an integrated terminator with a resistance of 120 Ohm, designed to replace the existing terminator when connecting to the bus. The SeaTalk NG network employs distinctive connectors for terminators (blue) and devices (white), minimizing the risk of errors during installation.
