The Cyrix-Li-Charge facilitates a 3-second delayed connection between a battery charger and the system under the following conditions:

VE.Bus BMS Charge Disconnect Output is High:
- The connection occurs when the charge disconnect output of the VE.Bus BMS is high.
Voltage Sensing:
- It engages if it senses 13.0 V (or 26.0 V or 52.0 V) or more on its battery charger connection terminal.
- It engages if it senses 2 V or more on its battery terminal (remaining open if not connected to the battery).

The Cyrix-Li-Charge swiftly disengages if its control input becomes free-floating, indicating cell overvoltage or over-temperature. In the event of a cell overvoltage alarm, a reset occurs shortly after charging stops, allowing the Cyrix to reconnect the charger after a 3-second delay.

While engaged (charger connected to the battery), the Cyrix disengages after 1 hour to verify the charger's status. If, post-disengagement, the battery charger's output immediately increases to 13.0 V or more, the Cyrix reengages with a 3-second delay.

Note: If there is zero discharge current or a small discharge current, the Cyrix remains engaged shortly after the charger is switched off or disconnected, as the battery voltage remains higher than 13.5 V.
