Charge Mate serves as an automated battery relay, establishing a connection between two battery systems when the voltage surpasses a pre-defined threshold (>13V at 12V / >26V at 24V) for a duration of at least 5 seconds. This arrangement enables simultaneous charging of the two battery systems. Upon a voltage drop (<12.75V at 12V / <25.50V at 24V), the battery systems are promptly isolated once again.
For emergency starting, a switch (not included) can be utilized to parallel a solenoid, providing an additional layer of flexibility and functionality to the charger.
