The VE.Bus Smart dongle serves a dual purpose in your power system:
Firstly, it acts as a Bluetooth accessory for our range of inverter/chargers, including Multis, MultiPlusses, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II, Quattros, and Phoenix Inverters with a VE.Bus port. Once installed, utilize the VictronConnect App to monitor operations, change input current limits, and switch between Off, On, and Charger-only modes.
Secondly, it functions as a Voltage- and Temperature-sense device for the inverter/charger, compatible with all models.
This device is particularly suitable for monitoring in caravans, smaller yachts, and motor homes where the Color Control GX or Venus GX may be excessive. It provides an Instant Readout to VE.Bus products, displaying key data on the VictronConnect device list page without requiring a direct connection to the product. This includes visual notifications for warnings, alarms, and errors, enabling quick diagnostics.
