Made from high quality soft PVC, inflatable ladder-shaped fenders are the excellent shock absorbing side protection for boats when mooring or unmooring. Inflated to a pressure of 0.2 bar, they provide:
- excellent shock-absorbing effect, preventing the sides of the vessel from touching a solid berth wall or a nearby vessel, if we are talking about docking;
- the necessary energy intensity for dampening of the kinetic energy of the waves and a decrease in the amplitude of the boat's rocking;
- distribution of the impact force over the maximum area, which reduces the impact force per unit area and prevents damage to the boat and the mooring wall;
- possibility of use as an additional ladder with a weight limit of up to 81.6 kg (180 pounds).
As long as you respect maximum inflation pressure and person weight limits when climbing stairs, a soft PVC inflatable fender/ladder will last a long time.
Polyvinyl chloride is a very durable polymer that can withstand significant physical exertion, is resistant to ultraviolet radiation, and does not deform under the influence of sea salt and temperature changes.
