Operating within the 406MHz satellite band, the rescueMe EPIRB1 Pro functions on international distress frequencies perpetually monitored by Cospas-Sarsat, the global search and rescue satellite operator. This ensures a swift response worldwide upon signal reception. As the world's most compact Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB), the EPIRB1 Pro combines a compact design with durability, catering to the requirements of all non-SOLAS governed vessels (for SOLAS vessels, refer to EPIRB3 Pro). Designed for maximum efficiency, it boasts a 10-year battery life and extended operational life during activation, keeping rescue services informed of your location for an extended period.

Key Features:
- Compact Float Free EPIRB with a 30% reduction in size compared to the standard
- Equipped with a cutting-edge 66-channel GPS receiver for quick and precise position determination
- Includes a Float Free bracket and an automatic release housing with a Hydrostatic Release Unit
- High-intensity strobe lights
- 10-Year Battery Life
- Intuitive operating controls protected from accidental activation
- Designed as a Class 2 EPIRB (-20°C – +55°C) suitable for general use
- Non-hazardous battery

Equipped with a 121.5MHz homing beacon for close-in location by rescue services and a high-brightness LED strobe light for enhanced visibility, especially at night, the EPIRB1 Pro ensures comprehensive distress signaling. In emergency situations where physical access to the EPIRB is challenging, the Category I Automatic Release Housing (‘float free’) guarantees automatic deployment and activation. The Automatic Release Housing (ARH) includes a versatile adapter for easy retrofitting, allowing convenient mounting using the same holes as older and larger EPIRB models such as the Ocean Signal E100/E100G, Jotron Tron 60s, and McMurdo E5/G5.
