The Lasdrop Gen 2 Shaft Seal is a mechanical shaft seal that provides a perfect seal through the friction of a stainless steel ring on a carbon ring. Unlike competitors, the unique design of the Lasdrop seal does not leave marks on the shaft (no set screws to hold the stainless steel ring on the shaft), and maintains a constant seal with a spring that compresses the stainless steel ring on the carbon ring.
