The UC132-OBS unbalanced side mount cylinder exhibits a variance in the number of wheel turns required for lock-to-lock movement between port and starboard directions, and vice versa. It is engineered with a patented turning nut, facilitating swift and trouble-free installation onto the engine tube. Adequate clearance of 375 mm (14.76 inches) is necessary at the engine tube side.
Applications of the UC132-OBS cylinder should be cautious, as it is not recommended for use in installations where boat speeds exceed 55 mph (48 knots) and 60 mph (52 knots) for dual cylinder/dual engine setups. It is explicitly not designed for racing applications.
