The B60-12º bronze transducer is specifically designed to provide a vertical beam without the need for a fairing. Its housing includes a ceramic element that is tilted to allow for built-in deadrise compensation. This configuration ensures excellent echo returns, resulting in more accurate depth readings. The transducer's nearly-flush housing minimizes drag, with only 5 mm (3/16") extending outside of the hull. It is engineered for center-console and trailered boats, and its low-profile design has no significant impact on the boat's running performance. During installation, the arrow on the cap should point towards the keel for proper orientation.
