The Run Indicator is a sophisticated device designed for monitoring and visualizing electrical current and voltage in up to four independent DC circuits, offering valuable insights into the status of various loads. The device is particularly useful for checking the state of manually switched loads, such as navigation lights, and ensuring that equipment is functioning properly by confirming the flow of current through the load.

Key applications and features of the Run Indicator include:

Digital Switching Management: Current and voltage data can be used to configure the device for managing the channels of an NMEA 2000 digital switching system. This enables the device to raise sound alerts, turn equipment on or off, and provide insights into load operation, duration, and frequency.

Data Display: The device allows data display on modern Multi-Function Displays (MFDs) as digital switching circuits. Legacy chartplotters can display loads as up to four batteries. Individual load types, such as Battery, Solar Panel, Wind Generator, etc., can be configured, providing flexibility in monitoring different equipment types.

Solar Panels and Wind Generators: The Run Indicator is well-suited for digitizing the performance of solar panels and wind generators, with a capacity of up to 200W per channel.

Monitoring and Detection: The device is ideal for visualizing manually switched loads, monitoring normally open and normally closed sensors (e.g., door sensors), digitizing the performance of solar panels and wind generators, and monitoring bilge and fresh water pumps while detecting leaks.

Ease of Installation: The device offers easy installation without the need for external shunts. It supports a current range of ±10A (15A peak) and up to 40V DC per channel.

Compatibility: Compatible with legacy chart plotters (NMEA 2000 PGN 127508) and modern chart plotters with CZone support. It can also sound events with the Alarm Button, manage loads with the Circuit Control, and work with compatible equipment, including Maretron and Oceanic Systems.

Web Access: Inexpensive web access is facilitated using Web Gauges through the Wi-Fi Gateway or Router. The device can be programmed, and firmware upgrades can be performed with the CAN Log Viewer.

It's essential to note that while the Run Indicator's case is waterproof, caution is advised regarding wire terminals' exposure to seawater to prevent potential short circuits. Avoid placing the device where it can be flooded, get wet in the rain, or be sprayed with water.
