With a front distribution box and built-in bypass diodes, the module continues to generate electricity in shade or low light. The light weight and aerodynamic shape reduce wind resistance compared to conventional solar panels.
Installation precautions include avoiding pressurized water jets, leaning on the panels, or covering the front for proper ventilation. During transport or storage, protect the flexible solar panel elements with cardboard. Unpacking and installation require careful handling, avoiding direct contact with the fragile cells and holding only the junction box.
Optional installation enhancements, at an additional cost, include a ventilated space for increased efficiency and reduced surface heating. This method accommodates the distribution box under the panel, utilizing double-sided adhesive tape and polycarbonate strips.
