The SmartSolar MPPT VE.Can series, ranging from 150/70 to 250/100, is a cutting-edge solar charge controller designed for efficient energy conversion and optimal battery charging. Utilizing Ultra-Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology, it seamlessly converts solar array energy into optimal charging for 12, 24, or 48V battery banks, with charging currents ranging from 70A to 100A based on the model.
Capable of recharging severely depleted batteries, this MPPT charger operates with a battery voltage as low as 0 Volts, provided the cells are not permanently damaged. Its programmable charge settings accommodate various battery chemistries, including lead-acid and lithium.
Remote control and configuration are possible via Bluetooth through the VictronConnect App, offering convenient management and real-time monitoring of battery voltage, current, PV voltage, and historical data. The VE.Can SmartSolar charger features CAN bus ports, allowing daisy-chaining for communication between multiple units, synchronizing charge stages.
For remote monitoring and control, integration with the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) is facilitated when connected to the internet. In cases without internet access, the GlobalLink 520 enables remote MPPT monitoring. Additionally, the VE.Can SmartSolar charger includes a VE.Direct port for single-unit monitoring or streetlight control, with an optional LCD display/control for on-device live data, setup, and management.
