Benefiting from a three-stage battery charging mechanism (bulk, absorption, float), the controller offers full programmability, enabling customization based on battery type. The load output comes equipped with low voltage and manual disconnect features, both programmable, protecting against overloads and short circuits. The controller is safeguarded against reverse polarity connections from solar panels and/or batteries.
For enhanced battery management, the load output prevents over-discharge by disconnecting loads when the battery reaches a preset voltage. The controller supports day/night timing for load output activation after dusk, adding to its flexibility. Additionally, the programmable battery charge algorithm accommodates various battery types, including AGM, GEL, Flooded, or LiFePO4 batteries with internal BMS (Battery Management System). The two 5 Volt USB outputs collectively offer a maximum current of 2A, ensuring efficient and reliable charging for connected devices.
